Excellent service and great communication

As two self-employed individuals, my wife and I expected the mortgage process to be particularly challenging. However, from our very first conversation with our broker at CMME, Leigh Balfour, we felt completely supported. Leigh took the time to thoroughly understand our financial circumstances, including the variability of our income, and carefully sourced lenders who would be the right fit for our situation. Her professional knowledge was outstanding, but what stood out even more was her warm, personal approach. She consistently made time to answer our questions in detail and with great clarity. There were moments when the documentation and explanations required by the lender were complex due to our work setup, but Leigh was always patient and proactive. She genuinely sought to understand the nuances of our situation and ensured everything was presented clearly to give us the best chance of approval. I’ve been communicating with CMME (mostly Leigh) for the mortgage products almost every 2 years & each time I have been receiving clear communication and quick (reliable) responses which kept me confident at each step without any surprises at the end. The whole process along with competitive rates which Leigh offered was not possible if I would have tried to get / bargain it myself with the lender directly or would have taken services from any other agency. It all comes down to the extensive in-depth experience in the area which Leigh and her team holds along with the guidance on the duration/ type of product one can bid /opt for. CMME provided a high quality service throughout my mortgage application process. The advice they provided initially was insightful and showed a deep understanding of the nuances of contractor employment and income which is often lost on most high street lender mortgage advisors. They then kept me up to date with the application status whilst the lender made the decision. All in all, an excellent experience. Highly recommended.
